86% Merlot 14% Cabernet FrancThe mild spring was followed by lovely weather in July and quite a cool August. These conditions produced nicely ripened grapes with lots of freshness. At the beginning of September the sun came back in full force, bringing the phenolic maturity to a perfect finish.TASTING NOTESA dense colour and a nose with notes of raspberry and fresh blackcurrant. Spicy, roasted and truffle aromas follow on the attack. Despite a powerful first impression, the elegant tannins bring great finesse and the finish is very silky and smooth.
1995 is a true great vintage with all the hallmark characteristics: power, depth, richness, complexity, but also delicacy, subtlety and harmony. In its density, it follows the style of 1986; its elegance and charm recall the 1990. Could this be an ideal combination? This wine will be long-ageing and is sure to improve, so it would be a pity to drink it now. And yet... the nose is so rich, the fruit so powerful, the tannins so soft despite their density, that we hesitate to recommend against indulging our desire to drink it now! OWC wooden case for 12 btl - good condition with slight scuffing on lid - sealed. This wine will be sent out in OWC unless we are instructed otherwise.
The intense ruby colour of this wine leads the taster to predict a rich and powerful substance. Very expressive on the nose, the wine shows lovely notes of blueberries, blackcurrant, violet, followed by mineral hints and notes of grilled bread. On the palate, as predicted by the appearance, the wine is powerful, with a great elegance. It is perfectly balanced, medium bodied with velvet tannins and a long length, leaving a sensation of accomplished pleasure after tasting.

Château Moulin Haut Laroque-outsider is number one on the right bank. Jean-Noël Hervé is the first to have shown that we could get fat finals Fronsac while having bodied wines. He released the name of a complex of rustic tannins. In the early 2000s, he has achieved something even more famous: Fronsac show that can overcome a type of wine round mid-palate, yet simple in the final, to go to a Eancé and deep wine with subtle and refined finish.
Cabernet Sauvignon 77 %, Merlot 13 %, Cabernet Franc 10 %Tasting notesAn attractive red, shading slightly to orange at the rim, the wine has an open and intense nose on black fruit aromas like cherry and blackberry, along with cedarwood, fresh mint, some more floral notes and perfectly integrated oak. From the outset, the full palate offers opulence and an attractive density, with remarkable depth of flavour. Merlot: 51%, Cabernet Sauvignon: 41%, Petit Verdot: 8%Ageing potential 2018-2035+Tasting notes:Crimson in colour with deep purple highlights. Closed, understated, elegant, and refined on the nose - both floral and fruity with overtones of rose petal, coriander, black pepper, and raspberry. Fresh, understated, and beautifully balanced on the palate. Tremendously long aftertaste and tannin very much in balance. Straightforward with a great future ahead of it. - Enrico Bernardo
The 1990 Petrus remains incredibly young, one of the least evolved wines of the vintage (along with Montrose and Beausejour-Duffau). This dense ruby/purple-colored effort is beginning to hint at the massive richness and full-bodied intensity lurking beneath its wall of tannin. The vintage’s sweetness, low acidity, and velvety tannins are present in abundance, and the wine is massive in the mouth as well as incredibly pure and well-delineated. I thought it would be drinkable by now, but it appears another 5-10 years will pass before it begins to reach its plateau of maturity. This wine is capable of lasting at least four more decades. - Robert Parker JrOWC wooden case for 12 btl - good condition - sealed. This wine will be sent out in OWC unless we are instructed otherwise.
A forward, peppery, black currant-scented perfume emerges from this deep ruby/purple-tinged 2003. With good ripeness, moderate tannin, soft acidity, and a precocious, forward style, it can be enjoyed over the next 10-12 years.
This wine has a colour of a beautiful dark red. Its fragrance is intense, with notes of red fruits, complemented by a melted toasted. Its mouth is both dense and velvety, giving way to a long and fruity finish.
