Chateau Carbonnieux Rouge 2005 (1x 75cl)

Deep red colour, with purple hues. A nose of red fruit, cocoa and roasted aromas, followed by crisp mentholated touches. Hints of violet then appear, followed by blackcurrant and fruit of the forest. Full and smooth initially. The tannins are dense and lend good structure to the wine, which is full-bodied and opulent, although it is still somewhat subdued, which promises outstanding potential.

Songlines Estates Songlines Shiraz 2005 (1x 75cl)

The aroma is of cinnamon cherry and dark berry fruits with the taste of mulberry and blackcurrants. The palate has an excellent even weight of finely structured flavours and drive that balances the considerable intensity with length and freshness. Smooth (currently chamois leather like texture) tannins are soft finely layered and eternally long. This wine displays enormous depth of fruit with great complexity & elegance.
