This wine is deep rich red, almost black in colour. It has a perfumed labyrinth of ripe berry fruits, violets, black pepper and menthol, Asian spices, cigar box, oak and new leather. This wine has a complex palate showing a distinct elegance and vibrancy of fruit with an array of black currant, mulberries, dark cherry and quince. The fruit acid is natural and balanced with the tannins being fine and layered. Underlying oak shows restraint combined with notes of cedar, dark chocolate, spice and tar.

Taittinger is one of the few Champagne Houses to remain owned and actively managed by the family named on the label.Vintage 2005 is an elegant but comlex cuvee made rom a blend of 50% Chardonnay from Grand Cru vineyards in the Cote des Blancs and 50% Grand Cru Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims. Whilst still showing the elegance and sophistication that is the Taittinger style, the vintage offers more weight and body with nutty characters, excellent concentration and a long, full-flavoured finsih.


Glaetzer Anaperenna Shiraz Cabernet 2009 (1x 75cl)

Enticing liquorice and fragrant herb notes on the nose, revealing hints of dark stone fruits and cassis with layers of roasted coffee beans. The key characteristic on the palate is the textural tannins that provide support for the supple yet restrained palate - finishing with freshness, purity and length.
