On the nose there are aromas of strawberries and wild raspberries, with some exotic notes, fresh fennel and other aromatic Mediterranean herbs. A lovely palate of red fruits that are crisp and enticing and a well balanced acidity.
Jean Luc is pioneering vineyard development in a beautiful, scenic area just north of Marseille and this wine is close his heart reflecting the style he wants to make from this area. A light, refreshing, dry rosé with abundant yet subtle red fruit characters dominated by powerful aromas, reminiscent of the Mediterranean scrubland (garrigue). On the palate, notes of black olives , herbs and fresh fruit evoke the terroir of the Mediterranean coast. The beautiful and aptly named Blue Coast in a glass.
With an attractive pale pink colour, this is a light and refreshing rosé from the Languedoc region of Southern France. Cinsault lends itself particularly well to the production of rosés, and this dry, unoaked example can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with a wide range of Mediterranean dishes.
