The nose is immediately bursting with fruit, followed by fresh floral notes and pepper. After prolonged ageing, the wine proffers more evolved nuances of fruit preserved in alcohol and aromatic herbs. The bursting sweetness is kept in check by acidity and tannins, creating an approachable wine of great finesse. This wine, with its unique concentration, is named after the founder of the winery, Giovanni Allegrini, who elected this as his preferred wine.
Deep ruby red in colour, with perfumes of cherry and black forest gateau. This wine has good body and an ageing potential of at least ten years. It has a smooth and velvety character, with mature, pulpy fruit character and delicious raisin flavours.
Deep ruby in colour with a youthful rim, this Valpolicella has brilliant cherry perfumes. The palate shows perfectly balanced fresh and baked cherry fruit characters, and slightly higher acidity than the previous vintage lifts the ripe fruit and gives a fresh finish.
Gently aromatic with floral rose petal and geranium notes; the palate is racy, dry and light without any heavy Gewurz oiliness and the fruit clean, citrussy and perfumed.
Fresh, clean aroma, quite pronounced floral notes and impressions of subtropical fruit. A fresh, quite intense, long lasting aftertaste.
Ultra-fresh, elegant Sauvignon with elderflower and lemon aromas and a squeaky-clean palate with zesty citrus and just-picked gooseberry notes.
