Distilled and aged in American oak barrels on the island of Negros Occidental (known locally as Sugarlandia), the pure, original Negros sugar cane is the foundation for Don Papa Rum’s long, rich-textured finish. The namesake of Don Papa Rum is inspired by the unsung hero and mystic, Papa Isio, who was one of the leading figures of the late 19th century Philippine revolution. Since its launch, Don Papa has won numerous international awards for the liquid and its distinctive packaging, the revered design agency Stranger & Stranger.

Matured in the foothills of Mount Kanlaon, Don Papa 7 Year Old Rum is aged in ex-Bourbon and ex-Rioja American Oak casks for depth of flavour, before being blended to perfection by their Master Distiller.
With vibrant citrus zest, mango and sweet spices on the nose, the resultant blend delights with bold fruit flavours, fresh ginger and vanilla cream in the mouth. With a touch of dry, toasted oak on its long smooth finish, as we say on Negros, it’s a rum that’s good enough to drink neat.
