A very limited gin made with collaboration from Edinburgh's Royal Botanic Garden's. The 1670 Physic Garden was founded by Robert Sibbald and Andrew Balfour to grow herbs and flowers to help in the creation of medicines. This gin uses botanicals such as Piper Leaf, Tasmannia Lanceolata leaf and Tasmanian Mountain Pepper picked fresh from the gardens to make a unique and interesting gin.
Its heady blend of fennel, sweet cicely, Piper leaf and Tasmannia lanceolata delivers optimum refreshment. You’ll find spicy and peppery notes, leafy basil and a cooling mint finish. Combine with a premium tonic, a slice of lemon and some smacked basil leaves, alternatively use as a herbaceous base to cocktails. Anyone who has had the pleasure of strolling around Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Garden can now relive the wonderful experience from the comfort of their armchair with a G&T in hand.
